Lucky for me, the only charm I risked using while running around was Fragile Greed when trying to get the Geo needed to upgrade the Fragile Charms. That's why I ultimately decided to forgo the Fragile Charms when attempting the Trial. ![]() I beat the Trial of Fools before the Unbreakable Charms were implimented, so every time that I wanted to try either Strength or Heart as a part of my build, I would have to Dream Gate myself back to Leg Eater after my inevitable defeat, then work my way back to the Colosseum to try again. A total of 11 Notches exist in Hollow Knight. The combined Notch Cost of equipped Charms cannot go past The Knights Notch Limit (see the Charms general page for the Overcharming mechanic). But it is rather tedious to keep going back there for repairs. All Charms have a corresponding Notch Cost. Especially if you wear that charm that the Dung Defender gives you when you beat him as Leg Eater will give you a discount.
